Supports development of a Hawaiian Language Plan to advance use of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) in government services, private sector activity, and tourism beyond educational settings

Requests the Chief Executive Officer of Aha Punana Leo to convene and chair a Hawaiian Language Plan Coalition composed of representatives from 11 specified organizations including the Department of Education, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, University of Hawaii programs, Kamehameha Schools, and Hawaiian civic organizations

Coalition directed to develop a comprehensive plan with aspirational goals, benchmarks, strategies, and outcomes for the next 35 years to normalize use of Hawaiian language and build on past educational accomplishments

Requires coalition to submit the Hawaiian Language Plan and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2021 Regular Session

Coalition terminates on June 30, 2021
