Request that the State Auditor conduct a follow-up study to its 2015 examination of departmental engineering sections managing capital improvement projects (Report No. 15-13)

Examine whether state departments have implemented the Auditor's prior recommendations regarding project timelines, contract administration worksheets, and stakeholder involvement

Review the implementation and effectiveness of annual training conducted by the Comptroller under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 103-12 for engineering personnel managing capital improvement projects

Require the Auditor to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2020 Regular Session convenes

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Auditor and Comptroller
