Request the Mayor of Honolulu to establish an Iroquois Point Ferry Task Force to study feasibility of regular ferry service between Kapilina Marina and Aloha Tower Marketplace, including logistical and financial considerations.

Mayor or designee shall serve as chairperson; task force membership to include Deputy Director of Transportation, Harbors Division, and other individuals with expertise in West Oahu needs or public/nautical transportation.

Task force must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2020 Regular Session convenes.

Addresses traffic congestion in West Oahu where residents spend over one hour in morning commute and another hour returning home, with limited public transit alternatives.

Waterborne transportation option intended to improve quality of life for Iroquois Point residents and reduce overall traffic in West Oahu.
