• Supports the ʻIimiloa Astronomy Center in developing and leading educational efforts about cultural, natural, and historic resources on Mauna Kea at Hale Pōhaku (Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station Onizuka Center for International Astronomy).

• Encourages transfer of education outreach operations at the University of Hawaiʻi-operated Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station to the ʻIimiloa Astronomy Center.

• Recognizes ʻIimiloa's accomplishments including serving over 1,000,000 visitors since 2006, partnerships with Hawaiian language programs, support for Hawaiian voyaging canoes, and collaboration with Mauna Kea Observatories.
