Request that City and County of Honolulu extend the no parking restriction on Isenberg Street (between South King Street and Young Street) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to address traffic congestion during peak hours.

Current no parking prohibition exists from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the Ewa (Western) side of Isenberg Street between South Beretania Street and South King Street to maintain two open lanes during rush hour.

Traffic congestion on H-1 Freeway extends past 6:30 p.m. on typical work days, impacting the Bingham Street exit and Isenberg Street, with parked vehicles blocking lanes and preventing left turns onto South King Street.

Require City and County of Honolulu inspectors to survey traffic conditions at the intersection of South King Street and Isenberg Street during 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. over multiple work days.

Direct certified copies of the resolution to be sent to the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu, Honolulu City Council, and Director of the Department of Transportation Services.
