Appropriates $7,000,000 from general revenues for fiscal year 2018-2019 to the Department of Transportation for emergency landslide recovery and mitigation efforts.

Funds address landslide damage from February 18, 2019 on the Pali Highway in Honolulu and February 23, 2019 on the Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in Maui, including debris removal, slope inspection and scaling, and construction of rockfall protection structures.

Covers maintenance of contraflow lanes on the Pali Highway and limited access restrictions on the Honoapiilani Highway (mile markers 36-42).

Appropriation shall not lapse at end of fiscal year; any unencumbered funds remaining as of June 30, 2020 shall lapse on that date.

Any federal reimbursement received from the Federal Highway Administration (up to 80 percent of project costs) shall be deposited into the general fund.
