Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 710-1063 to add knowingly making a false statement to a county inspector as a criminal offense under unsworn falsification to authorities

Defines "county inspector" as a person employed, contracted, or appointed by a county or county department/agency to evaluate or investigate compliance with county ordinances, rules, or regulations

Applies the offense to false statements made in oral, written, printed, or electronic form to a county inspector during compliance investigations

Unsworn falsification to authorities remains classified as a misdemeanor

Takes effect upon approval
