Establishes a limited lines license for self-service storage facility owners to sell stored property insurance to occupants covering loss or damage to personal property in storage units.

Requires owners to obtain the limited lines license before selling, soliciting, or offering stored property insurance; employees and authorized representatives may then sell without individual producer licenses.

Mandates disclosure materials at storage facilities must inform occupants that insurance purchase is optional, may duplicate existing homeowner/renter coverage, include material terms and pricing, and explain the claims process.

Requires insurers or supervising entities to develop and provide training programs for storage facility employees and representatives prior to them engaging in insurance sales activities.

Owners may collect insurance premiums from occupants and must remit funds to the insurer or supervising entity within 60 days; fees assessed under the limited lines producer license schedule in section 431:7-101.
