Allows insurers to provide privacy notices to customers at least once every three years instead of annually, under specified conditions.

Exemption applies only when the insurer has provided nonpublic personal financial information to nonaffiliated third parties under sections 431:3A-401, 431:3A-402, or 431:3A-403.

Exemption requires that the insurer has not changed its policies and practices relating to disclosure of nonpublic personal information since the most recent notice.

Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 431:3A-202 to establish the three-year notice option while maintaining existing requirements for former customers.

Takes effect July 1, 2050.
