S.C.R. No. 37 - Summary

• Department of Health is requested to conduct a study on the State Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services System to identify issues, problems, and propose improvement initiatives.

• Department of Health must submit written findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2020.

• Study should address the efficiency and effectiveness of the statewide emergency medical services system administered by the Department of Health in coordination with the State Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee.

• A certified copy of the resolution is to be transmitted to the Director of Health.
