Department of Accounting and General Services is requested to study the feasibility of creating an Office of Public-Private Partnership to support state and local government utilization of public-private partnerships.

Study should focus on best practices in contracting for public-private partnerships to achieve lower lifecycle costs compared to traditional delivery processes.

Department must submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the 2020 Regular Session.

A certified copy of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Comptroller.
