Urges the Board of Education to include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instruction in health education curriculum for grades 9-12 in all public schools statewide.

Requires CPR instruction be included in at least one health class required for graduation and include hands-on practice with automated external defibrillators, following nationally recognized evidence-based emergency care guidelines.

Allows public schools to waive CPR instruction for students unable to participate due to disability.

Provides liability protection for organizations, agencies, and public employees who sponsor, authorize, finance, supervise, or provide CPR and automated external defibrillator instruction to students.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Chair of the Board of Education and Superintendent of Education.
