Urges the Board of Regents of the University of Hawaii to comply with Chapter 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes (Sunshine Law) public notice requirements for all meetings.

Requires written public notice of regular, special, emergency, or rescheduled meetings no less than six calendar days prior to the meeting.

Addresses concerns that the Board of Regents has posted late hearing notices for meetings it has conducted.

Urges the Board to post hearing notices earlier than the minimum six days required and to maintain more detailed meeting minutes that specifically identify members who made statements.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Chair of the Board of Regents, President of the University of Hawaii, and Director of the Office of Information Practices.
