• Directs the Department of Land and Natural Resources' Division of State Parks to collaborate with the National Park Service to update the National Historic Landmark designation to incorporate the Hawaiian place name, multicultural history, and recent scholarly research.

• Requires certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Secretary of the Interior, National Park Service Director, Governor, Board of Land and Natural Resources, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and county mayors.

• Supports the Kauai community's recognition of Pāulaula as the site where King Kaumuali'i had his royal compound and honors the Hawaiian cultural significance of the location.
