• Requires boards exercising legislative functions to include a statement on the topic and general description of subjects involved, plus reasonably foreseeable effects, in meeting agendas.

• Mandates that boards provide notice of substantive changes to any agenda item at least 48 hours prior to meetings when exercising legislative functions.

• Extends the time period to file a suit challenging violations of sunshine laws from 90 days to 180 days after the action.

• Effective July 1, 2019.
