Requires state websites created or updated between December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2023 to include Hawaiian language translation option by January 1, 2024.

Requires state websites created or updated on or after January 1, 2023 to include Hawaiian language translation option within one year of creation or update.

Requires county websites to meet the same Hawaiian language translation requirements as state websites, with each county designating an agency to assist the Office of Planning in coordination.

Designates the Office of Planning as the lead agency to coordinate translation of state and county websites into Hawaiian language, with ability to consult Chief Information Officer, University of Hawaii, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and county officials.

Exempts reports, statutes, ordinances, documents with international standard book numbers, and public submissions (court filings, testimony, comments) from translation requirements.
