Establishes a legislative social media task force within the department of accounting and general services to study social media use in the legislative process.

Task force shall examine the technological feasibility of testifiers providing testimony through recorded broadcasts or live video to the legislature.

Task force shall assess the State and legislature's current information technology infrastructure capability for relaying testimonies via recorded broadcasts or live video, and estimate upgrade costs if needed.

Chief information officer shall chair the task force with members selected for knowledge in information technology and communications; Senate president and House speaker shall each appoint at least one member.

Task force must convene within 30 days of the Act's effective date and submit findings and recommendations to the legislature by 20 days before the 2020 regular session; task force dissolves June 30, 2020.
