Exempts hearing aids and other auditory devices from Hawaii's general excise tax by amending Section 237-24.3, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Expands the definition of "prosthetic device" to include hearing aids and devices worn on or in the human body, removing the previous exclusion of auditory devices.

Exempts gross receipts from the repair of prosthetic devices and replacement parts for prosthetic devices from the general excise tax.

Provides tax relief for individuals with disabilities and seniors with limited incomes who face high costs for hearing aids not covered by Medicare or all insurance policies.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
