Establishes a task force to review Hawaii's food security and food safety practices and ensure compliance with the federal Food Safety Modernization Act for all imported foods including meat, produce, and dairy products.

Task force shall develop recommendations to prevent misleading labeling or advertising of imported foods that falsely claim Hawaiian origin or imply locally-grown qualities.

Task force composition includes two senate members, two house committee chairpersons (agriculture and health), one University of Hawaii professor, and two private business owners involved in food distribution.

Task force members serve without compensation and must submit findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2021 regular session convenes.

Task force dissolves on June 30, 2021, with the Act taking effect on July 1, 2050.
