Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 711-1112 to add a new class C felony offense for intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly causing the malfunction or breakdown of operation of an automated public transit vehicle, system, or service.

Expands the definition of "public transit vehicle" to explicitly include paratransit vehicles, government-operated transit vehicles, school buses, and taxis as separate categories.

Updates the statute title and text from "Interference with the operator of a public transit vehicle" to "Interference with the operator or operation of a public transit vehicle" to reflect the broader scope.

Reorganizes the definition section (subsection 2) into a lettered list format while maintaining existing categories of covered vehicles.

Takes effect on July 1, 2050.
