• Requires a parent or guardian to accompany minors aged one to five years on set during theatrical employment.

• Requires a studio teacher (holding a valid Hawaii teaching license or equivalent credential from the minor's home state) to supervise not more than ten minors when a variance from work hour restrictions is granted, with the studio teacher not being the minor's parent or guardian.

• Establishes that minors aged five to eighteen years may be employed in theatrical work only during non-school periods or when excused from school, provided a valid certificate of employment is obtained.
