• Prohibits the listed officials from representing any person or business for a fee regarding any legislative or administrative action for 12 months after termination from their positions.

• Maintains existing restrictions on former legislators and employees disclosing non-public information and representing parties on matters they previously participated in or involving their former agencies.

• Defines "represent" as engaging in direct communication on behalf of any person or business with a legislator, legislative employee, state agency, or their employees.

• Takes effect January 1, 2021.
