• Requires persons operating vehicles with ignition interlock permits to carry government-issued identification (passport, driver's license, state ID card, or military ID) in immediate possession.

• Extends the lookback period for determining repeat offenses from five years to ten years for violations of ignition interlock requirements and related offenses.

• Increases penalties for third or subsequent violations within ten years to include six months to one year imprisonment (changed from one year) and permanent license revocation.

• Mandates consecutive imprisonment terms for persons convicted of operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and also convicted of driving under the influence or related offenses arising from the same conduct.

• Expands prohibited conduct to include obscuring a camera lens associated with an ignition interlock device, in addition to existing prohibitions on tampering and soliciting others to bypass the device.
