Amends Section 441-22.1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to broaden cemetery authority exemptions from specific requirements (bonding and fees) to all provisions of the cemetery chapter.

Grants churches exempted under this section complete exemption from all cemetery regulatory requirements.

Defines entities exempt as churches under federal tax law as churches for purposes of state cemetery exemption.

Allows the director of commerce and consumer affairs to impose any chapter requirement on an exempt cemetery authority by order.

Takes effect upon approval.
