Extends the annual vehicle registration fee exemption for disabled veterans to also include exemption from the annual vehicle weight tax.

Applies to disabled veterans who are Hawaii residents, have been honorably discharged from the U.S. armed forces, and have a 100% service-connected disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Exemptions apply only to one vehicle per disabled veteran and do not extend to vehicles used for commercial purposes.

Requires the director of the office of veterans' services to report to the legislature and department of taxation on the number of disabled veterans qualifying for the exemptions.

Takes effect upon approval.
