Appropriates $2,325,000 from general revenues for fiscal year 2020-2021 to support Iolani Palace operations, maintenance, restoration, and repair.

Designates $2,000,000 for restoration and repairs, $250,000 for operation and maintenance, and $75,000 for one full-time equivalent groundskeeper position.

Establishes Iolani Palace as the State of Hawaii museum of monarchy history to preserve and celebrate Hawaiian cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage.

Requires appropriated funds to be in addition to and not replace the existing base budget for the museum.

Takes effect on July 1, 2020.
