Establishes three methods for board members of planned community associations (Chapter 421J) and condominium associations (Chapter 514B) to resign: signed written notice, electronic mail with electronic signature, or written notice provided during a meeting.

Makes resignations effective upon receipt of notice, unless the notice specifies a later effective date; allows boards to fill pending vacancies before the effective date if specified.

Defines "electronic signature" as a method of signing an electronic message that identifies the person as the source and indicates approval of the message content.

Limits planned community association boards to filling vacancies only until the next annual or duly noticed special association meeting, with special meetings requiring sufficient notice to allow owners to declare candidacy and solicit proxies.

Takes effect July 1, 2050.
