HI HB2601

Requires the Legislative Reference Bureau to compile a report of all months and dates designated by both chambers of the legislature as holidays or periods of recognition or observance within Hawaii.

Excludes from the report any days or months designated or recognized by the legislature for a specific year only.

Mandates the Legislative Reference Bureau submit its findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2021 regular session convenes.

Takes effect on October 19, 2036.
