• Requires student athletes entering into name, image, or likeness contracts to disclose them to designated institutional officials and prevents contracts from conflicting with team contracts or restricting commercial use outside official team activities.

• Takes effect July 1, 2050; violations are treated as unfair or deceptive practices under Hawaii's consumer protection law.
