• Requires county police chiefs to disclose the identity of police officers to the legislature upon suspension or discharge.

• Amends the Uniform Information Practices Act to allow public disclosure of employment misconduct information for suspended or discharged officers, including the officer's name, nature of misconduct, allegations summary, findings, and disciplinary action.

• Expands the law enforcement standards board's authority to revoke law enforcement officer certifications for misconduct or failure to meet qualifying standards.

• Authorizes the law enforcement standards board to review and recommend statewide policies and procedures relating to law enforcement, including use of force standards.

• Extends the deadline for the law enforcement standards board to finalize its standards and certification process from July 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021.
