• Establishes the Filipino-American World War II Veterans Burial Assistance Special Fund within the state treasury to be administered by the Office of Veterans' Services.

• Fund provides burial grants up to $5,000 per person to cover funeral, burial, and repatriation costs for eligible Filipino-American World War II veterans who wish to be buried in the Philippines.

• Appropriates funds from general revenues into the special fund for fiscal year 2019-2020, with matching appropriations from the special fund for fiscal years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 to distribute burial grants.

• Fund lapses and reverts to the general fund if either federal funding becomes available for this purpose or no eligible Filipino-American World War II veterans remain living in Hawaii.

• Act takes effect on January 1, 2050.
