• Requires landowners seeking to deregister land with the Bureau of Conveyances to submit a map and description prepared by a licensed professional surveyor, in addition to proof of title insurance and a written waiver of claims against the State.

• Establishes that the assistant registrar must record the deregistration plan in the Bureau of Conveyances following procedures in Hawaii Revised Statutes sections 502-17, 502-18, and 502-19.

• Mandates the assistant registrar transmit deregistration records to the state land surveyor and requires notation of recordation and cancellation details in the registration book.

• Updates surveying requirements to specify "licensed professional surveyor" instead of "registered surveyor" and requires deregistration plans to include application/consolidation numbers, document numbers of cancelled certificates of title, and the order of deregistration.

• Effective July 1, 2050.
