Makes it a misdemeanor for any person to advertise housing subject to owner or renter occupancy requirements under chapters 201H and 206E, Hawaii Revised Statutes, for rental purposes.

Makes it a misdemeanor for any person to advertise or sublet public housing units within public housing projects as defined in chapter 356D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, for rental purposes.

Exempts state and county agencies, private project owners, managing agents, and authorized private management companies from the prohibition when advertising or publicizing housing programs.

Assigns enforcement authority to the police department of the county where the housing is located.

Takes effect upon approval.
