Requires the Hawaii Tourism Authority to promote Hawaii as a destination that protects the environment, coral reefs, and marine life conservation districts.

Mandates the authority provide guidance to tourists on the dangers of sunscreen pollution, specifically products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate, which are scheduled to be prohibited in Hawaii starting January 1, 2021.

Appropriates $1,000,000 from general revenues for fiscal year 2019-2020 to fund these environmental protection and education initiatives.

Adds environmental protection promotion as a new responsibility (item 7) to the Hawaii Tourism Authority's existing duties under Section 201B-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
