Request that the United States Marine Corps prepare a comprehensive environmental impact statement for the Shoreline Stabilization Project at Puuloa Range Training Facility on Oahu instead of the less-comprehensive environmental assessment already issued.

Urge the Marine Corps to consider alternative approaches to coastline management and the possibility of relocating the training facility to vacant Navy-owned land on Oahu rather than proceeding with shoreline hardening.

Require the Marine Corps to provide relevant communities in Ewa Beach with adequate notice and opportunities to be heard on actions related to the Shoreline Stabilization Project that may affect those communities.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Secretary of the Navy, Commandant of the Marine Corps, Hawaii's congressional delegation, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam leadership, Marine Corps Base Hawaii leadership, and the Honolulu City Council member for District 1.
