Urges the Board of Education to name Hilo High School Gym after Albert and Lawrence Manliguis, brothers who served as head coaches at Hilo High School for 48 consecutive seasons.

Albert and Lawrence Manliguis led the Hilo High School Vikings to three state basketball championships: Lawrence coached two state championships (1991, 2000) and Albert coached one (1964).

Lawrence Manliguis also led the Vikings to a runner-up finish in 1992 and eleven Big Island Interscholastic Federation titles; Albert led the team to nineteen Big Island Interscholastic Federation championships.

Recognizes the Manliguis brothers' dedication to mentorship and their fast-paced, up-tempo coaching style that emphasized discipline, skills, and character development in student-athletes.

Directs certified copies of the concurrent resolution to be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Education, Superintendent of Education, and Principal of Hilo High School.
