Urges the City and County of Honolulu to implement a plan to properly remove abandoned vehicles from Oahu's roadways

Requests establishment of an alternate storage location if existing contractor storage lots have reached full capacity

Encourages the City and County of Honolulu to consider adopting the expanded abandoned vehicle disposal program used in Hawaii County, which allows residents to dispose of up to two vehicles at no cost

Notes that in 2018, 5,603 abandoned vehicle tickets were issued and 3,089 vehicles were removed from Oahu roadways, but the problem persists due to storage facility capacity constraints

Requires certified copies be sent to the Mayor of Honolulu, Chairperson of the Honolulu City Council, and Director of the Department of Facility Maintenance
