Request for the State Auditor to conduct a sunrise analysis on the regulation of music therapists in Hawaii.

Analysis should include a recommendation on whether regulation should be implemented through licensure, certification, or registration.

Auditor must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2021 Regular Session convenes.

Resolution notes music therapy applications in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and psychiatric facilities for patients with mental health needs, developmental disabilities, chronic pain, and other conditions.

Certified copies to be transmitted to the Auditor and Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
