Requests the Hawaii Theater Center to convene a Hawaii State Theater System Task Force to create a plan for establishing a statewide theater system.

Task force plan must include identification of collective needs among historic theaters, a vision and mission statement for the system, and recommendations for State support.

Task force comprises representatives from six historic theaters: Hawaii Theater Center (chair), Aloha Theater, Historic Waimea Theater, Honokaa People's Theater, Maui OnStage at Historic Iao Theater, and Palace Theater.

Chair may invite representatives from other related entities to participate as appropriate.

Task force must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2021 Regular Session convenes.
