• Department of Health is requested to collect sexual orientation and gender identity information through the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) for monitoring adult population health.

• Department of Health is requested to include CDC-approved questions on sexual orientation and gender identity in the BRFSS questionnaire or develop its own questions if necessary.

• Department of Health is requested to publish detailed annual reports on BRFSS results and comprehensive annual reports comparing health outcomes between LGBTQ+ and general populations.

• Department of Education is requested to administer the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System to collect sexual orientation and gender identity information from public school and charter school students and transmit data to the Department of Health.

• Department of Education is prohibited from passing any costs associated with administering the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System to schools.
