Designates April as Tree Awareness Month in Hawaii to increase public awareness of the value and benefits of trees.

Recognizes trees' contributions to environmental health including carbon reduction, air purification, oxygen generation, and cooling of urban areas by up to ten degrees Fahrenheit.

Acknowledges trees' positive effects on human health, productivity, and property values, as well as their importance to Hawaii's tourism-based economy and agricultural sectors.

Notes community organizations' efforts to increase tree knowledge and awareness, including Trees for Honolulu's Future, Healthy Climate Communities, Smart Trees Pacific, and Outdoor Circle.

Requires certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, and Mayor of each county.
