Request the Disability and Communication Access Board and Office of Enterprise Technology Services to establish a working group focused on accessible government documents for individuals with disabilities.

Working group shall research other states' laws and technologies for providing government documents in accessible formats, including documents from private entities contracted with the State.

Working group shall evaluate and recommend strategies to improve accessible government document provision and identify effective oversight mechanisms.

Working group membership includes representatives from the Center on Disability Studies, Office of the Lieutenant Governor, Department of Accounting and General Services, Judiciary IT, Attorney General, House Chief Clerk, Office of Information Practices, Civil Rights Commission, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and advocacy groups for blind and deaf persons.

Disability and Communication Access Board must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than forty days before the 2021 Regular Session convenes.
