Caps the total cost-sharing for in-network prescription insulin drugs at $100 per thirty-day supply for all health insurance plans in Hawaii, regardless of insulin amount or type needed.

Applies to individual and group accident and health insurance policies, group policies, hospital and medical service plans, and health maintenance organization contracts.

Allows insurers to reduce cost-sharing below the $100 cap but prohibits exceeding this maximum amount for covered insulin drugs on a plan's formulary.

Defines "prescription insulin drug" as any prescription drug containing insulin used to treat diabetes, consistent with Hawaii Revised Statutes section 328-1.

Takes effect July 1, 2050, and is exempt from impact assessment requirements as a clarification of existing medical insurance benefits.
