Amends Section 708-800, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to expand the legal definition of "property" to explicitly include intellectual property and property stored in electronic media that is retrievable in perceivable form.

Defines "intellectual property" as intangible property rights in creative products of human intelligence protected under copyright, patent, trademark, and trade secret laws.

Updates property crime statutes to allow prosecution of crimes involving intellectual property theft and electronically stored property.

Does not affect rights, duties, penalties, or proceedings that commenced before the Act's effective date.

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
