• Removes the June 30, 2021 repeal date for chapter 465D (behavior analysts licensing), making the regulation of behavior analysts permanent under Hawaii Revised Statutes.

• Over 300 behavior analyst licenses and 1,000 registered behavioral technician licenses have been issued since the program's establishment in 2015, providing autism treatment services to thousands of individuals.

• Exempts the behavior analysts licensing program from the auditor's sunset evaluation requirement under section 26H-5, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

• Renumbers subsequent repeal dates in section 26H-4: chapter 466L (appraisal management companies) repeal date remains June 30, 2023, and chapter 457J (midwives) repeal date remains June 30, 2025.

• Takes effect upon approval.
