• Requires roofing contractors to provide written notice to consumers in 10-point bold font explaining their right to rescind, along with a detachable rescission form.

• Mandates roofing contractors return all payments and deposits within ten business days of receiving a rescission notice, except for emergency services already performed.

• Prohibits roofing contractors from representing or negotiating insurance claims on behalf of insured homeowners and allows the Contractors License Board to revoke licenses of contractors who perform as public adjusters without proper licensing.
