Authorizes advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), in addition to physicians, to serve as attending and consulting providers for medical aid in dying under Hawaii's Our Care, Our Choice Act.

Allows psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners to provide counseling to qualified patients, alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers.

Reduces the mandatory waiting period between a patient's initial and second oral requests from twenty days to fifteen days.

Establishes an expedited pathway allowing terminally ill patients not expected to survive the mandatory waiting period to waive the fifteen-day waiting period and reiterate their oral request to their attending provider at any time after the initial request.

Changes references from "physician" to "provider" in health care facility notification requirements to accommodate the expanded scope of practitioners authorized to participate in medical aid in dying.
