HI SB2940

Amends section 109-C of S.B. No. 2940, S.D. 2 H.D. 2 to add a new development guidance policy allowing the stadium authority to seek entities to purchase naming rights for the stadium and its facilities within the district.

Renumbers existing policies (4) through (8) to become policies (5) through (9) to accommodate the new naming rights provision.

Maintains existing requirements for development to comply with county transit-oriented development plans, allow modifications with governor approval and public hearings, and promote economic development including mixed-use and affordable housing.

Preserves existing protections for archaeological, historic, cultural sites and endangered species, and ensures coordination with county and state policies and programs affecting the district.
