Adds new provision to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 11-381 allowing candidates to use campaign funds to pay for child care costs incurred during campaign activities.

Child care expenses must be necessary because of the candidate's participation in their own campaign and limited to costs from January 1 of the election year through the day after the primary or general election.

Child care services cannot be provided by immediate family members to qualify for reimbursement from campaign funds.

Defines "child" as a person under the age (age specification blank in bill text) who is a biological, adopted, foster, step-child, or legal ward of the candidate.

Takes effect July 1, 2050.
