Department of Health convenes a construction waste reuse and recycling working group to develop recommendations for implementing requirements for reuse, recycling, or donation of construction waste

Working group consists of 9 members including the director of health (chair), comptroller, county environmental service representatives, building industry representative, non-governmental organization representative, representatives from Re-use Hawaii and Hawaii Materials Recycling LLC, Chamber of Commerce Hawaii president, and state building code council member

Working group shall submit interim report to legislature no later than 20 days before 2021 regular session and final report with findings and recommendations no later than 20 days before 2022 regular session

Working group ceases to exist on June 30, 2022

$75,000 appropriated from general revenues for fiscal year 2020-2021 to fund working group operations
